Hi,
when using XML-Schema with default values for attributes and/or elements, the transformation result shows no default values! The description in XML Schema Part 0, 2.2.1 Occurrence Constraints says that a "schema processor" should provide the default attributes/element values. Is the stylus XSLT processor a "schema processor"? Examples for attribute and element default values are in the ZIP file.

No, currently the Stylus XSLT processor is not a "schema processor"; it
doesn't read the XMLSchema associated with the input XML file to infer
default values (it only uses the default attribute value informations
coming from a DTD). We plan to add this functionality in the near future.

Not yet, as it is part of the upcoming XSLT 2.0 specs (see http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt20/#xml-output ). It will be implemented when the
Stylus processor will be upgraded from XSLT 1.0 to XSLT 2.0.
