Subject:Invalidating bug in Stylus Studio meta-information Author:Jesper Hertel Date:18 Jul 2001 02:05 PM
Hello.
Stylus Studio 3.0.0 (I downloaded it today) has a bug in the meta-information comment it creates at the bottom of the XSLT document: It does not escape "--" in file names. "--" is not allowed in XML comments, so if a file name of a scenario file contains "--", the whole XSLT document is made invalid because the file name is included unescaped in the Stylus Studio meta-information comment.
This is not a theoretical problem; I have a lot of files containing exactly "--" in the filename.
My temporary solution is to exclude these files from the Scenario, but it is a bug that I think should be fixed.

Jesper,
you are correct, that's a bug (I guess we never tested file names with
"--" in the file name...).
We are fixing it; we'll have a BL47c for you later today or tomorrow; I'll
let you know when it's available.
It fixes the problem you have reported.
Being a sub-build update, it won't trigger the automatic update mechanism; but you can explicitly install it from the above mentioned location.
