Hi Minollo!

template.
This is exactly the part which is not reloaded.
>You shouldn't need to do anything; if one of the documents used by Stylus

included/imported stylesheet or any other document), Stylus Studio will ask
you if you want to reload it, and will update it's DOM.
This is correct if it is a filesystem-XML-file. But NOT if it is an eXcelon
Portal Server XML-file (!). When I use a Portal Server XML-file as "Source
XML URL", then this file is NOT reloaded when I make structural changes in
the e.g. eXcelon eXplorer! And that is very bad, if you develop with
eXcelon.
Let's try it out ourself.
Thank you
Chris
PS: I'm using Stylus Studio #46.

You shouldn't need to do anything; if one of the documents used by Stylus
Studio is modified (an XML file referenced by a stylesheet, an
included/imported stylesheet or any other document), Stylus Studio will ask
you if you want to reload it, and will update it's DOM.
The only part which is not refreshed is the Schema tree on the right of the
template.
Are you getting the notification that the XML document has changed? If not,
is the XML document stored on the same machine where Stylus Studio is
running? (otherwise there could be issues with the clocks of the two
machines being out-of-sync)

Hi Minollo!
Maybe this behavior is, because I'm using eXcelon 2.6 SP1 with Stylus Studio
3.0.46. (Both are running locally on the same machine).
Can this be the problem?

It works for me.
Is the Portal Server server running on the same machine where Stylus Studio
is running? If not, are the clocks of the two machines in-synch?
Are you modifying the Portal Server file from your machine (the one where
Stylus Studio is running), or is it being modified by another client?
Thanks,
Minollo
