(Deleted User) Subject: Need help regarding pipeline output filename
Author: (Deleted User)

Hi

I am trying to make a pipeline make a specific name for the outgoing file.

My EDI partner requires that the file is named this way:

The file should have the following names convention:
ORDERS_[ unique number].xml

How do I make the pipeline generate a filename like that?

In the documentation I found that it is possible to make a hardcoded name, but I cannot find any reference to dynamic values in the filename.

Kind regards Bruce

If you need to have control of the output file name, you will need to do it programmatically with an XQuery block instead of an output port

You can use ddtek:serialize-to-url to create a file

ddtek:serialize-to-url(
<XML content>,
<url>,
'method=EDI'
)
