Beth WheelingSubject: FO External Graphic Producing Error
Author: Beth Wheeling

I am using Stylus Studio X15 Release 2. I have an FO stylesheet where I would like to pull in an image.

<fo:block>
<fo:external-graphic>
<xsl:attribute name="src">http://<hostname>/path/mypic.jpg</xsl:attribute>
</fo:external-graphic>
</fo:block>

when I run the stylesheet, I get an error "No loader can be found for image file ...".

Does anyone know what this means? I have not yet been able to successfully display an image on the output PDF.

Hi Beth

You need to use the url meta function

<fo:block>
<fo:external-graphic src="url('http://<hostname>/path/mypic.jpg')"/>
</fo:block>

Which FO processor have you configured in the scenario dialog?

Hope this helps
