Subject:.NET XslTransform Compiled output differences SS 2007 - 2008 Author:Jan Verhoek Date:18 Dec 2007 04:44 PM
Hi,
After just upgrading to SS EE 2008 I ran into a problem processing a XSLT with the .NET XslTransform Compiled processor.
1) It always generates a XML-declaration even if not set (other processors don't)
2) It stops and returns an error (System.InvalidOperationException) if the HTML output contains 2 root elements. (I know MS has an issue on that). If I put a <DIV> around the output to have just one element all goes well.
When I run the same XSLT with SS EE 2007 all this does not happen! It generates the HTML just like the other processors.
Is this an issue or just a setting with the 2008 edition?
