Hi,
I have a little problem with the stylus studio 2007 release 2 profession edition (build 894m). After changing my stylesheet, I test this changes and got the error, that the stylesheet could not be compiled. Now I fix the problem and want to save the stylesheet again and I get an I/O Error, saying, that another process is working with the stylesheet file. I do not open the stylesheet in any other program. This error occurs several times after starting my PC. After some restarts of stylus studio, this error does not occur any more (which seems to be strange). I do not count how often I have to restart my studio to save the file several times after compiling. Does anybody know, if this problem can be solved by installing a bugfix or changing some properties?
Thanks for your help and best regards,
Andreas Grund

We found that sometimes when using the Saxon 8 processor, the input
stream is not closed until garbage collection is done by the Java
processor. We'll contact you shortly with a solution.

Hi,
I´m using not the Saxon processor, I use the Java-builtin processor (seems not to be the same, right?). I just test, if the same problem occurs during using the xalan-c as a custom processor within stylus studio.

Try this test:
1. Start Stylus Studio from scratch
2. Open your XSLT
3. Choose XSLT > Scenario Properties...
4. Go to the 'Processor' tab, and let me know the processor set
5. If it is built-in, cancel out, otherwise set processor
6. Choose XSLT > Preview Result (to cause the error)
7. Let us know what the error is, exactly - word for word
