Subject:Why are the XSD Changes ignored when checking XML? Author:Billy Boy Date:30 Jun 2004 03:24 AM
The scenario is that I have the IDE open and I have an XML loaded and a XSD loaded, the XML references the XSD.
When I click on the 'Validate document' for the XML file the response is 'Good', then if I change the XSD so that the XML should now fail and again click on the 'Validate document' for the XML file the response is STILL 'Good'.
The only way I can get it to read the amended XSD is to reload the IDE and then reload the files.
I have saving and reloading the docs in between but still no joy, still have to reload the IDE.
Is this right? why does the IDE rememeber the last loaded state of the XSD?
