Working on an XP Pro, when I click on the 'DB to XML Data Source', I get
the following message: The Java Virtual Machine is required to use this feature. Java Runtime
Environment library not found.

As requested, I performed the following which did not result in any
improvement:
Please verify under Help -> About that JVM gets loaded succesully.
If it doesn't go to
Tools ->
Options ->
Application Settings ->
Java Virtual Machine
and hit "auto detect"
There was not any reference to JVM under About. I clicked on the Auto
Detect button but nothing seem to happen. I did notice that when I clicked on the Java Virtual Machine that the
Runtime library and the JDK Home Directory were blank.
After the above steps, I am still getting the same error message.

Do you have the Sun JVM installed on your machine? The
settings there should point to it. The further messages
in that thread mentioned how to determine if the JVM is
installed, and where to get it if it is not. Specifically,
Ivan's second reply should contain the solution.

That seems to indicate that no JVM is (properly?) installed on your system.
You can install the latest JVM version from:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html
(J2SE v 1.4.2_05 JRE)
