Is there something like a trace processing output for

I wonder wether there is something like a trace output for the XSLT processing.

In other words: When applying a XSLT script onto a XML input file all matching templates
and matched XML nodes and their transformation should be written to a log file.

Is this somehow possible? At least with Saxon?
