Hi david, <Comment> >Didier is actualy working on a development pretty much exactly as you >outline called XStyles, that you might find interesting. And has advantages >of leaveraging previous experience, choice of scripting implimentation, and >well, how can I say?... more directness. Is there a URL for this? <Comment> <reply> Some already know the language named XScript (was called XStyle at couple month ago) and we discussed some of its features. First I renamed it XScript because it can do more than just style. It can process incomming and outgoing XML documents (XSL or CSS just process outgoing documents mainly for rendition or for transformation in a transformation chain - However, XSL cannot access a database, for instance) I am writing the full specs to post on the web. The specs are open and everybody can make their own implementation. I hope to post something in the next two weeks. As soon as the documents are posted, I'll notice you of the URL. </reply> regards Didier PH Martin mailto:martind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.netfolder.com XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
