I am wondering if this tool will allow java code to call this tool to use its X12/EDIFACT validation features and have then have a 997 generated depending on the result. We are looking for an EDI validation tool to be able to be called via java and then have file passed on to our own maping interface.

Hi Steve,

Stylus Studio bundles DataDirect XML Converters, a Java library that provides programmatic bidirectional access to numerous data sources such as EDI, CSV, and other legacy formats such as XML through Java applications.

If you download Stylus Studio Enterprise Edition you will be able to evaluate the Java library as well, which is licensed separately
