Stylus Studio XI4 will allow me to transform an HL7 message to XML. Now I need to go the other way, XML to HL7. I've searched but cannot find a way where Stylus Studio will allow me to transform an XML file to a HL7 file. Can someone tell me if it is possible and if it is please provide an example.

Hi Karl,

The XML Converter API that you have been using are bi-directional, see ConverterFactory.newConvertFromXML.

You need to feed the convert with XML shaped properly.

Ivan,

Thanks for you assistance. I've watched the video and have tried to follow all the steps shown in the video to transform my xml file to an hl7 message but I'm getting errors. I've attached a doc with pictures in it hoping that it will help you see what I'm doing. Please point me in the right direction once you look at my attached document.
