Subject:Can Stylus generate XSLT if source xsd and target xsd are provided Author:Michael Tian Date:01 Dec 2009 04:40 AM
Hi,
I have got source xsd and target xsd but I need xslt for the transformation. Can Stylus do this task for me? if yes, could you tell me how in detailed instructions. Thanks for the help.

Hi Michael,
you can use XSLT Mapper (http://www.stylusstudio.com/xml_to_xml_mapper.html) to load the two XSD and map them visually. After you have connected the two structures, you have created the XSLT you need.

Hi Michael,
you can reach Mapper by doing a New > XSLT Stylesheet and then switching to the second tab in the XSLT editor.
You can see a video at http://www.stylusstudio.com/videos/xsltedit1/xsltedit1.html (albeit for a previous version of Stylus, so the UI could be different in some aspects)

Hi Alberto ,
Thanks for the help. Yes I have gone through the link for the tutorial but does not go in depth. My tarnsferfmation from one xsd to another is more complicated than just simple link. Mine need logic behind graphic mapping. Is there more detailed tutorial for mapping?
