Subject:How to add page number in to variable in xslt Author:Johanna Antila Date:29 Jul 2009 05:49 AM
I have to create pdf with xslt so that one text row exists only on first page just above footer. File is several page long and footer and header exists in every page.
Now I have added the row just above footer, but it shows in every page. I would like to make if clause that says that if the page number is 1 this row above footer exists.
But how can I add pagenumber in to variable??
I can mark first page like this:
<fo:block id="FirstPage"></fo:block>
And call it like this:
<fo:page-number-citation ref-id="FirstPage"/>
But how can I get pagenumber value in to the variable so that I can make a clause using that value?
<xsl:variable name="page-number" select="translate(page-number-citation ref-id="FirstPage", ' ')"/>
(Not well-formed... I know...)
<xsl:if test="$page-number='1'">
...
Hmm, Hope someone can help me with this. Thank you! :)
