Hi,

With SS 2009 Professional Edition just installed, when I tried to open an xquery file, I got the error:

Unable to locate "C:\Program Files\Stylus Studio 2009 Release 2 XML Professional Suite\Components\DataDirect XQuery\lib\ddxq.jar

I don't have a "components" directory inside the said ...Suite directory. I have tried uninstalling and re-install again. Still no help.

Hi Kam,

Could you check if you are running the latest 2009 R2 build 1386e?

If not you can get package at
http://www.stylusstudio.com/update/2009_R2.html

Well, Profession edition shouldn't be including the Components directory;
as DataDirect XQuery and XML Converters come only with professional.

It should be offering to run the XQuery using Saxon or the internal
engine.

Can you try switching to one of those engines?

I didn't know Professional doesn't include the DataDirect processor.

The built-in process crashes all the time (see the other related topic I opened "Runtime Error, Struzzo.exe, Abnormal program termination".)

Saxon works, but I need to use the DataDirect processor. This is because the server that we are using integrated DataDirect processor in it. If I use the Saxon processor, everything works fine, but the xQuery won't run in the server, which uses the DataDirect processor.

Thanks for the information though.
