I get:

"The application has failed to start because the side-by-side configuration is incorrect.
Please see the application event log for more detail."

Where do I find this event log?

Or even better how to solve this?

Hi Paul,
a handy tool to detect missing dependencies is "depends.exe" (http://www.dependencywalker.com/). In case the missing piece is the VC++ 2005 redistributable (MSVCR80.DLL, MFC80.DLL), you can download it from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=200B2FD9-AE1A-4A14-984D-389C36F85647&displaylang=en
