Geoffrey NuttingSubject: In Sync
Author: Geoffrey Nutting

Hi,

In the Diagram view for a schema (*.xsd) file I generated automatically from a *.xml file using Enterprise Edition, v.7 I find the text # In Sync down in the lower right hand corner of the diagrammatic presentation. I don't know what it can be used for - could someone point me in the right direction of some documentation on this feature, or send me some on it - I wasn't able to find a description of it in the on line help.

Thanks,

Jeff Nutting

Hi Jeff,
that area of the status bar contains the status of the sync between the diagram and the text pane. When it's "In Sync", it means that both displays contain the same informations; if it contains "Synchronizing" it means that a change has been performed in the text window, and the diagram at the top is being reconstructed using the current content. If it contains "Errors" it means that the text contained in the text view is not valid XML/XSD.

Hope this helps,
Alberto
