I have 2 problems:
1. My XML document is validated against its DTD, but when I logon to the Internet and try to view it on my browser (Internet Explorer 6.0), I get the following message:
"The XML page cannot be displayed
"Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
"Access is denied. Error processing resource 'C:\xml\isochars\isolat1.pen'. Error processing resource 'file:///Z:/TECHMAN/2...
%ISOlat1; %ISOpub; %ISOgrk1; %ISOgrk3; %ISOnum; %ISOtech;
---------^
These are .pen files which we obtained from the U.S. Navy specifically for its XML documents. I've doublechecked the pathname called out in the DTD for these files and it is correct. I've also copied the .pen files into the same folder as my XML document, plus a few other locations just for good measure, but still get the same error message. I've also removed the style sheet reference from the XML document but still get the same error message.
2. The second problem is that when I preview my XML document using Stylus (click on XML, then Preview in Internet Explorer...), I get a different error message:
"The XML page cannot be displayed
"Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
"The system cannot locate the resource specified. Error processing resource 'file:///C:/Documents and Settings/hanson/Local ... "
This second method also creates several temp files.
So what am I doing wrong? And why do I get 2 different error messages, depending on how I preview my XML document?
Thanks for your help,
Charlie
