I receive XML files from several journal publishers. Each of the publishers' XML files has subtle differences from one another and each differs from my own xml (I use the National Library of Medicine's standard). In most cases, although the tag labels differ, the data within the tags can be moved without modification from a publisher's file to to mine. In a few cases the data format with a tag needs slight modification.

I need to map the data in these files to my own XML format. Is there a straightforward way to do this with Stylus Studio? It seems as though this should be a simple utility and I must be missing how to do it.

I've been doing the conversions with multiple by passing each publisher's file through a series of GREPs. If I do something out of order that results in a mess.

You should definitely move to XSLT.
