Hi,
As of a few days ago my installation of Style Studio 2006 Enterprise stopped working. When I try to launch it I see the splash screen and then nothing else. In Task Manager I see that struzzo.exe is running, but the application window doesn't show up.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the product two times and I still get the same result.
How can I debug this? It is possible that installing other software products could cripple my Stylus Studio installation?

Ivan,
Thanks for your response.
The CD Case for my product says "Stylus Studio 2006 XML Enterprise Edition". I had tried installing an update earlier for "Stylus Studio 6 XML Enterprise Edition" (Build 377o) but after installing that it said my CD Key was not valid for that product.
So I uninstalled that and installed the upgrade for "Stylus Studio 2006 XML (all editions)" (Build 501j). That one accepted my CD Key, but the application never launches. I see the splash screen, and Struzzo.exe shows up in the Task Manager, but there's no UI.
Since then I uninstalled and reinstalled straight from the CD itself (Build 501e). I get the same thing: splash screen but no app.
The regedit key you mentioned was different on may machine. It said "XML Enterprise Edition 2006". I changed that to be "___XML Enterprise Edition 2006" (similar to your suggestion). After I tried to run Stylus Studio it created a new key named "XML Enterprise Edition 2006". However the app still did not run.
There has been other software installed on this machine since I first put Stylus Studio on there, but I haven't installed the Internet Explorer 7 beta.

Hi Ivan,
Thanks. I've downloaded and installed Release 3 (build 653e). I still get the same result I'm afraid: the splash screen, struzzo.exe running in the Task Manager, and then no UI.

Hi Ivan,
Uninstalling iTunes did the trick. Stylus Studio now launches as it should.
The funny thing is that I had iTunes installed before I installed Stylus Studio on this machine. Stylus worked fine for a quite while. It was only after I installed an upgraded version of Stylus that it stopped working.
Sorry I forgot to note which version of iTunes I was running, but it wasn't a recent one. I believed I had installed it in February this year.
