I need to find a consultant who can develop WSDL files for a very large application, to which we have added a custom-coded SOAP server. The SOAP/ web services calls are intercepted by custom code and processed. Then more custom code sends a SOAP response. We are using some plug-ins for communications and for XML parsing. The application is developed under the 4th Dimension environment (www.4D.com) for a mixed Windows-Mac environment, although most of the licensees are Windows-based.
The consultant may be able to begin by developing a schema, but the custom-coded web services functionality is pretty complex, and will include some custom web services.
Because we were not able to use the built-in web services wizard and it's SOAP features, we are not able to generate a WSDL from the application.
Therefore, we need someone who can develop and modify WSDL files using whatever specialized tool can handle this, and who can do some _manual_ WSDL coding, if this is needed.
We can provide detailed specifications and documentation of the web services, including a test web services client and a number of example requests.
We do not, however, have a WSDL expert in our group of analysis and consultants.
Does anyone happen to know where I can find information about consultants who could handle this work for us? It would be great if there were a registry of some kind.
