Does Stylus Studio (pro version 6 RC2) work with Dotnet framework 2?
I get "System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation" error when trying to attach MSXML.NET processor to any xsl.. I have only dotnet version 2 installed.

Hi Akash,

If you can you should update to the latest Stylus Studio version 7.2
that supports the .NET 2.0 XSLT processor.

If you are stuck with 6.0 you could take a look to NXSLT, a command line wrapper written by Oleg Tkachenko

If I have the 1.1 and 2.0 versions of the dotnet framework installed side-by-side, is there a way to direct Stylus to use the 1.1 version of the framework, thereby avoiding this error? (I believe I began receiving the error after installing the 2.0 framework. Before that things were working fine.)

Hi Tony,

Which Stylus Studio version are you running?

Try to change struzzo.exe.config as follow then re-start Stylus Studio

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<configuration>
<startup>

<supportedRuntime version="v1.1.4322"/>
</startup>
</configuration>

Hi. I'm running Stylus 6 Release 2 build 287e. There was no config file present but I put one in the bin folder per your suggestion and it seems to have done the trick. Thanks! :-)
