XP operating system running...
everytime when i change my laptop location, add or remove pv-cards, change my network settings etc. Stylus Studio announces that there were "major" hardware changes and my license has to be reactivated. If you have Internet access, this "reactivation" is done automatically and i can work.
now i have no internet access, the "reactivation" message occurs again and stylus studio wants me to recativate and check my license via stylus studio support in usa (where nobody is available, because it is 9 o'clock in the morning in Europe)
So stylus studio shuts down and i cannot work with it.
It is the daily business of a consultant's laptop to work in many different environments and i cannot "reactivate" licenses many times a week.
Thanks
Martin
Please note that if you are running an evaluation license, you will still need to be connected to the Internet if you want to avoid license connection dialogs every few minutes (but with no need to shut down Stylus Studio).

Version 6.1 BL287 doesn't rely on any activation server. It's not possible that BL287 prompted you that message about a hardware change being detected and/or the activation server being not reachable.
Are you sure you didn't install Version 6 Release 3 (BL377), maybe for evaluation purposes? Version 6 Release 3 is the first release that relies on an activation server for license validation.
