Subject:SS4.5 build 103m Crash: Parsing error crashes app Author:Kevin Williams Date:15 Jan 2003 02:00 PM
This may have been reported before. apologies if it has, but I'm not going to read through 2800 posts for a bug in a demo version of a product.
Platform:
WinNT 4.0 sp6
Sequence:
Open application.
1) new xml Schema
2) diagram view
3) add element named 'xyz'
4) text view
5) create invalid schema by deleting ''
6) switch back to diagram view.
everything goes to hell.
error msg 1)
-> 'Parsing Error in ... didn't finish transcribing before it pops up the next message:
error msg 2)
-> An Unrecoverable error has occurred in the application.
->Please report the problem to http://edn.exln.com/~SSDN/login attaching file located in "...\bin\Struzzo.log"
We have fixed this bug in the internal build and we hope to make it
public as soon as possible.
The SSDN forum (http://edn.exln.com/ssdn) has text search capability
that you may find useful for future reference.
