Subject:XML 2 XML mapping: 'Mapper data population failed' Author:Michael Bingel Date:05 Dec 2002 08:09 AM
Hi there,
I just downloaded the trial version of Stylus Studio because I read about it's XML to XML mapping features (creating XSLT).
The drag & drop of the mapping works fine, but as soon as I change to the "XSLT Source" tab and want to change back to "XML Mapper" I receive an error message "Mapper data population failed!" and can not go back to that tab. The source is still there but no more graphical mapping is possible.
Trying to save the XSLT file results in the same error message. What is the problem ?

Hi, Michael
Without your source and target schema file which you specified in mapper,
it's very hard to tell what the problem is. does it always happen with some
particular links?
Can you send me the source and target files and I'll take a quick look.
thanks
