When I work with Stylus Studio, if I happen to close every file I'm working with, I receive this message:

An unrecoverable error has occurred in the application.
Please report the problem to...

Attached is the log file, as indicated by the error message.

Thanks Chris; the log file provides good information to understand where
the problem is. That shouldn't happen easily (I can understand technically
what kind of messages sequence can cause it, but I've been unable to
reproduce it); do you get that error deterministically when you close all
the open documents?

After a little experimenting, I've found out a bit more about the nature of the crash. Basically, it hinges on an XSL document being opened. If an XSL document has been opened and if at some point all open documents have been closed (I've only tested with XSL and XML documents), regardless of the order of closing, the error will occur. So opening three XML documents in a row and then closing them doesn't cause a problem. But opening an XSL document, then an XML, closing the XSL, then the XML, causes the problem.

I'm not totally sure what you mean by getting the error "deterministically", but this might be enough to reproduce the error. If you need any more info, feel free to ask.

FYI,
this issue has been fixed in the bl47b package which is now available on:
http://download.exceloncorp.com/downloads/studio/iftw_update/stylus%20studio.htm

Being a minor update to a build, this won't trigger the automatic new
version check, but I thought I would let you to know.

Hi Minollo!

I also get this error when I'm closing one document after the next document. When I close the last doc, then Stylus Studio makes several "beeps" and after that I get the same error. I have included my struzzo.log file for further details (note: I had this error two times: July 11 11:22 and July 11 16:45. But in the logs a several entries for this times!)

Hope it helps to find the "insetto".

We believe the error has been found and fixed; I sent a modified 47a build
of struzzo.exe to the creator of this thread, and it looks like it fixes
the problem for him.
I'm sending you the same thing to make sure it fixes the problem for you
too; the log file you sent looks identical to what we got yesterday, so I'm
confident this is the same issue.
