I am installing X15 R2 for the users on my network. I would like to disable the option to "Check for latest version" on the menu as well as any kind of auto checking. I found some information about editing the registry with a ManualNewVersionCheck key, but it does not seem to work with this version of StylusStudio. Can someone help?

Hi Bethany

Assuming you are running the latest enterprise edition, the key to disable the background version check is a DWORD located at

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
--\SOFTWARE
---\Stylus Studio
-----\X15 Release 2 XML Enterprise Suite
-------\Settings
--------Option: AutomaticNewVersion4Check

Set the value to 0 to disable it.

We do not support removing the menu item.
