This may be caused by the same problem reported a week ago about replace
hanging Stylus.
A public update to Stylus (4.6 BL103n) is almost ready; it will be probably
available early next week.
If in the meanwhile you can send us the XML (?) file you are using, we will
be able to double check that the fix also covers this particular issue.

I am trying to "Greek" the file so I can send it to you as I got error again of the insertion pointer being off by two lines. I am trying to do that in XSLT instead of search and replace in editor.

I have downloaded n and tried
search for [aeiou]
match case and
regular expression
replace with "v"
... when I tried this on whole document in text view it is taking forever. It is updating the screen for each change which isn't necessary.
There is no cancel or break allowed. I suggest allowing ESC or Break to be active.

Attached is zipped file. I have Greeked the text to protect copyright.
This takes under 10 seconds on 2Ghz 512Mb RAM windows machine in saxon. Windows 2000. Dell Latitude.
There is no way to break a replace all and the replace all is taking forever. The change of element 'p' to 'item' over a selected portion is now working. But the
[cv] change to "o"
match case
regular expression
search inside element values
takes forever and you can only stop by killing the program.
