Hi

I have created a pipeline that converts XML to EDI XML and then convert to EDIFACT.

I am however getting an error which meaning I am not sure of:

Error: I/O error while converting data in ConvertFromXML node 'Convert from XML': Error during conversion: Error during conversion: com.ddtek.xmlconverter.exception.InternalConverterError: EDIFACT.getName(), m_EANCOM=1997

Can anyone please give me a hint to what exactly this error is saying?

I have attached the mapping files.

Any help is much appreciated.

You have an additional segment that claims your transaction is EANCOM
Remove the following from your XSLT

<UNH0205>EAN008</UNH0205>

After fixing make sure the line number field is a number

I changed the following line just to generate a number for testing purpose

<xsl:value-of select="position()"/> 

and your pipeline started to generate EDIFACT

That sure helped. How did you get to that conclusion?.
Just in case I get into a similar problem another time. :-)

Regarding the "Line item identifier" I am thinking that I can change the datatype and let it be a string instead?

if you sending out these EDIFACT your receiving party will reject them.
