I'm running Windows 7 pro; no, I'm not keen on it, it's basically Vista out of beta. It is, or rather, was a clean, recent install of Windows.
I had the previous release of Stylus Enterprise running perfectly fine and thought "Well, a new build, I should install that."
After the update I couldn't start Stylus at all. There was a side-by-side config error and missing dependency files for c++ runtimes; runtimes that 'ought' to be there based on the other c++ runtimes libraries being installed and this being a recent and frech install of Windows 7 Pro... with VS 2008 and a heap of development tools as well, so you'd think the runtime; the right runtime would at least have stood a reasonable chance of being there... hold that thought...
(You have to ask yourself how it's possible that in the latest incarnation of the Windows operating system that the latest runtimes for everything aren't there... )
