Ver: X15R2 Build 1928m

I've disabled JVM via Tools > Options. Whenever I click on File > Open, it prompts me that JVM is disable. Is JVM required for basic functionality in SS?

Steve, sorry for the late reply.

Yes Stylus Studio requires a JVM.

Starting from version X16 build BL1987g it does bundle a private copy of the Oracle JVM 1.8.
