Stylus Studio is not a Swing application, as you may have noticed...
The grid control we are using to display tabular-like XML data is quite
sophisticated, but unfortunately it doesn't handle the hierarchy model as
we would have hoped it did.
We spent significant amount of resources in the past trying to improve it,
but we have reached a point where we have only three options: drop that
functionality, drop the grid control we are using in favor of a different
one, leave it as it is.
As we believe there is some value in the way it is now, and we don't have
the required cycles to move to a different grid control, the XML grid view
will remain as it is for a while. But I understand; it IS frustrating.
