Women in Markup

The aim is to create a safe space to share challenges and seek support,
suggestions, etc. b the everyday stuff b but also somewhere we can swap
ideas for potential conference paper topics, find collaborators, etc.

It doesn't matter whether you work with markup for a living or in your spare
time, nor  how technical you consider yourself b there won't be a test.

I created the group on the spur of the moment, inspired by a suggestion at
last month's (excellent) XML Summer School.  It's on Facebook because I was
more concerned with creating it somewhere, quickly, instead of striving for
perfection and not creating it anywhere...  I'm open to creating parallel
spaces on other platforms b whatever it takes to help us find each other and
increase our visibility to each other and hopefully also within our markup
communities.
