Right, because you transcribed it incorrectly.

You have "[[" and not "[".


The error message even tells you it cannot compile your expression:

Invalid expressionXSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): XSLT-apply-templates: could not compile select expression 'dagboek/entry[[position() > $offset and position() < $end]

I hope this helps you understand the error message.
