Well its the same everywhere. For coding in p.e. Eclipse you can add
some style rules to the editor to enforce layout and the likes. You
could define something like that for xsl, and have an editor that
supports it and have everybody use that editor, ....

But most important is maintainability. If that is secured, there
should be no problem.
