create EPS file from XSL-FO

Hi!
I need to create an EPS file from XSL-FO,
now I'm using Apache FOP but the output formats EPS it is not allowed.
I've tried to create pdf and the convert it with linux command pdftops
but the custom fonts
that I've embedded from Apache FOP are not compatible. (If I open the
EPS converted from pdftops
in Adobe Illustrator it returns me the error
" EAAFD+HelveticaNeueLTStd-MdCnO_99-Identify-H;
Font not found on the system; missing font has been substituted.  "

Can you suggest me a solution to my need?
