 XSLT & XML DTD compliance
May I please ask the experts on this kind list as to their opinion regarding XML DTDs that a would-be XSLT processor *should* support in the context of post-SGML, contemporary web mood and overall compliance with W3C standards.

In other words, *should* or *must* a decent XSLT processor support XML DTD's for source documents input to an XSLT transform.

Secondly, to what degree are DTDs regarded as "legacy" (and I guess
subject to future deprecation)?

Thanks in advance for all replies.

Kindly,

Justin Johansson
