Saxon for instance comes with such an extension (not sure it is in 9.2 HE, but normally it is in 9.1 B). But when I have such a requirement (well, that's a bit short as requirement, but usually this is the right way) I define a document type, write a class that implements XMLReader, and use this class as the reader for the source of the transform. Either you create some objects from SQL, and pass them to the reader's ctor, or you eval the SQL statements directly within the reader. Regards, -- Florent Georges http://www.fgeorges.org/
