I have the xalan processor in use.

I tried the stylesheet with Xalan Java 2.7.1 from the command line and the output is the same as with Saxon, with the exception of indentation.

Hmm, I tried Xalan again now with option -xsltc and then it does not come up with the previous result, instead the stylesheet outputs <td>0</td> for each name for each column. Based on the result with Saxon and with Xalan interpreted that seems to a bug with Xalan XSLTC.
