I'm using xslt to transform an xml file to an excel spreadsheet... it gives me an xml file wich i can open with ms-excel..... The problem is when i modify it (text bold for example) and i save-close it... I can't re-open it anymore!!!??? when i edit the file i found that excel added some binary data (in PageSetup tag).... This does not seem to be an XSL problem; it seems to be an Excel problem. You have been successful in making XML that the application imports; your problem is with the behavior of the application AFTER it receives the XML. While I am sure that the problem you describe is troubling, you are describing a problem with a specific application, not a problem with XSLT or XSL-FO, thus it is not in scope for XSL-List. List members: If you are inspired to answer off-topic questions please do so off list. I admire the generosity of those of you who try to help everyone, but prefer that you do so without cluttering the list.
