Hi guys! well, I did what you suggested, and it seems that XSLTPROC handles the template and the "macros". But... When it comes to the next step - applying the stylesheet which formats the document for a print version, the compilation fails with the following error: xsltproc --xinclude --output conf_guide.fo /home/docs.45/pkg/doc/scripts/print.xsl conf_guide.xml.online Making portrait pages on A4 paper (210mmx297mm) cm encountered in title, but no template matches. dsc encountered in formalpara, but no template matches. rel encountered in formalpara, but no template matches. val encountered in formalpara, but no template matches. cm encountered in title, but no template matches. ... fop -fo conf_guide.fo -pdf conf_guide.pdf Oct 24, 2007 1:10:12 PM org.apache.fop.hyphenation.Hyphenator getHyphenationTree SEVERE: Couldn't find hyphenation pattern en Oct 24, 2007 1:10:13 PM org.apache.fop.cli.Main startFOP SEVERE: Exception javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: org.apache.fop.fo.ValidationException: file:///home/docs.45/build/pkg/doc/configuration_guide/conf_guide.fo:132:23277: Error(132/23277): fo:page-number-citation is missing required "ref-id" property. at org.apache.fop.cli.InputHandler.transformTo(InputHandler.java:168) at org.apache.fop.cli.InputHandler.renderTo(InputHandler.java:115) at org.apache.fop.cli.Main.startFOP(Main.java:160) at org.apache.fop.cli.Main.main(Main.java:191) Please advise! I tried to import the macro.xsl to print.xsl, but it does not help.
