I should add ... I have no idea whether this is the case with eBay (or if I did maybe I couldn't say :-). But there are many reasons why a company might migrate away from an XML/XSLT-based system. Maybe it was designed and coded by programmers who had no clue as to what they were doing, but were caught up in unthinking enthusiasm and overgeneralized thinking, and their managers couldn't tell the difference and let them drive the train over a cliff. Blaming the train for this is just wishful thinking (I can avoid the problem by never getting on a train), when it's the enthusiasm and overgeneralization that's the problem. Cheers, Wendell
