Hello: I am a newbie in putting javascript with XSLT. I have some text that I would like to create some sort of layer that allows an image to appear when I roll my mouse over it. Here is the code: <xsl:template match="graphic"> <img> <xsl:call-template name="rend"/> <xsl:attribute name="onmouseover"> doButtons('<xsl:value-of select="/@url"/>') </xsl:attribute> <xsl:attribute name="onmouseout"> doButtons('<xsl:value-of select="../../p')" </xsl:attribute> <xsl:call-template name="id"/> <xsl:attribute name="src"> blank.gif </xsl:attribute> <xsl:attribute name="alt"> <xsl:choose> <xsl:when test="../figDesc"> <xsl:value-of select="../figDesc/text()"/> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise> <xsl:value-of select="'graphic'"/> </xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose> </xsl:attribute> </img> </xsl:template> I am using TEI right now, and when I generated the output, my images disappear entirely. However, neither does it come up when I roll my mouse over it. Can somebody please give me a suggestion on what are the possible ways I can do it? Thanks for your help. A Newbie.
