That's kind of what I figured, but the XSL used to do this transform is
actually stored in 11 different files.  Will it help if I attach them
all, along with some sample XML?

Without the XSLT code, we certainly can't tell you whether it's your old
output or your new output that's wrong.

If you're thinking about changing processors for performance reasons,
incidentally, do give Saxon a whirl. And also consider steps other than
changing processors - if you've got a performance problem, there are
sometimes very simple changes to your application code that can fix it.
