(What a surprise.) The sort of thing you allude to in this paragraph is a horse of a different color, and arguably may not be "XML" programming at all except superficially and incidentally. But none of the "problems" we're pointing to -- over-generalization and misapplication of technologies to problems unsuited to them, etc. -- are unique to XSLT. As has also been said. Cheers, Wendell
