The xpath is pretty much the same as the english (so ling as you
pronounce "[" as "which")

select="field[preceding-sibling::field/@name='city'
                and
              following-sibling::field/@name='favFood']"

or if you prefer

select="field[@name='city']/following-sibling::field[following-sibling::field/@name='favFood']"
