It seems that both Opera and GMail merged the starred reference **** at the end of the URI into the resulting link, so I'm guessing other clients will have probably done the same. The correct URI for Mike's referenced post is http://blogs.msdn.com/mikechampion/archive/2006/09/10/748408.aspx
