NO!!! use of disable-output-espacing= is almost always a sign of _not_
using XSLT the way in which it is intended. If you need to generate tags
(which is what you are dong here) XSLT is absolutely not the best
language to be using, as it is designed to work with trees of element
nodes.

If you are generating XNML or HTMl (as you are) you _never_ need to use
disable-output-escaping, Ypu may need to do use it if generating some
"almost XML" formats as used in template languages like JSP/ASP <%...%>
