In my somewhat limited experience with FO, I've resorted to tables a few times. I can justify it to myself by looking at the source of a PDF and noting that there isn't really any semantic value in there to begin with, so using a table for layout doesn't make it much worse. It does make me cringe on a philosophical level though. -- Brook -----Original Message----- From: J.Pietschmann [mailto:j3322ptm@xxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, November 13, 2006 1:06 PM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: XSL-FO positioning inlines and blocks cknell@xxxxxxxxxx wrote: [snip] > Can someone tell me what technique to use to achieve a layout like > this one? I understand that this might induce horror in a HTML designer. J.Pietschmann
